London Design Fair with Blue Patch – 19-21 September 2019

We’ve been working with the magnificent Blue Patch Collective for a few years. The sustainable marketplace for UK design, ethical fashion, eco-furniture, green gifts, organic & fair trade food has been really supportive & provided us with a number of platforms at which to showcase our grown furniture, so when they asked us along to be part of their stall at London Design Fair we jumped at the chance. It gave us another opportunity to show the Gatti Chair, & to meet some more of our followers & fans in person.

It was a fabulous few days, meeting incredible design fans from all over the world, & feeling the buzzing heart of design beating a sustainable drum for the future. Some of the highlights for us were finally meeting some of our loyal & wonderful customers & fans, but also making new friends, contacts, plus cementing those ideas, old & new, that sustainable production & design is the only way forward.

Incredible!

(On the first day, Gavin & Alice unwisely left the stand together for lunch, and that was when our friend, Rossana Orlandi, she of the eponymous Milan design house known for its far-reaching influence, popped by the stand. We were sad to miss her, as we’d greatly enjoyed meeting her in Marseille & had lots more to discuss (especially dogs & flowers)but luckily our lovely Blue Patch colleague Aline managed to get a snap of her in the Gatti Chair!)
